At all levels of our organisation, we encourage people to take responsibility for their actions within the guidelines we set out and those of the professional bodies to which we are accountable as a care company. Our procedures are clearly set out and we expect them to be adhered to but we also review and question our procedures on a regular basis to ensure the service we provide is safe for those being cared for and our employees.
We pride ourselves on the flow of information through our organisation. All employees at every level are encouraged to talk not only about the care at hand but also about their feelings or concerns when it comes to those in our care or other employees. Open communication is key to nipping problems or adverse situations in the bud before they become a crisis. Due to the nature of the work we do, problems and sudden changes in the health of those we care for are exppected and webelieve it is vital this is communicated.
The confidence to have trust in our abilities is paramount - it's at the heart of what we do. We work very hard to ensure that trust works both ways: from the trust of those in our care and their relatives to the trust our colleagues have in each other. To build this trust we have guidelines and procedures at every level of the organisation but we also encourage all colleagues to enjoy their job and to share this enjoyment with those in our care.
